Tunisia England Free Pick
It’s been an interesting week for us on our World Cup Free picks. We’ve tried to hit some massive underdogs and have come close. We also took a favorite yesterday that caved to Mexico in one of the best stories of the World Cup to date.
It’s safe to say we lit that Panama money on fire. We’ve had a good MLB season and clearly were feeling a bit charitable with our +700 bet back in March on Panama. They’re debutaunts in this tournament and need to beat England now after losing what looked like a draw with a miserable second half.

We look at the England match as this article is coming out late. It’s my significant other’s birthday. I’m grumpy, sunburned, and full of Panama resentment. Let’s dive into Harry Kane’s mug with our England/Tunisia free pick. The game kicks off at 1:00 CST on FuboTV and Fox Sports 1.
Harry Kane leads an England squad that hopes to reach the Knockout Stages and has a 71% chance to do so.
Tunisia England Betting Preview
England are back in the World Cup again, and this has been one of the more relaxed settings for them in recent memory. There hasn’t been a lot of drama facing the English squad in the buildup to this World Cup. That has them comfortable leading into this tournament. Perhaps they won’t be their typical choking selves this time around.
England has always been easy to dislike and fade, especially as an American. Their recent struggles were a big reason for our “Group G Advance +700” wager on Panama that now looks stupid. The day has games yet to be played though and perhaps the English will open the door against a Tunisian squad where not much is expected.
Tunisia is regimented in defense. They are difficult to break down and will likely have 9 men behind the ball for much of this game. Their style is one that many major powers struggle with. They have the longest active winless streak amongst any team in the World Cup and have 0 wins in their last 11 games. They still qualified undefeated with their 0-0 draws and their only loss so far in 2018 has been a 1-0 84th minute heartbreaker to Spain.
Tunisia have failed to win their last 11 World Cup matches and that’s a real trend to pay attention to here.
England is sporting a roster full of young stars that includes Tottenham goal scoring striker Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling of Manchester City, Jordan Henderson of Liverpool, and many other notables from the Premier League that will be recognized by common fans.
Tunisia are a bit harder to recognize. Wahbi Khazri from Sunderland is perhaps the most notable player for the Tunisians. Despite not being very recognizable, Tunisia rank 21st overall in FIFA and are the top ranked African team entering the tournament. They have conceded just 4 goals in their last 6 matches of qualifying.
This looks like it has draw potential, but if we know anything, it’s that Tunisia isn’t going to score in this one. From a betting perspective it could go 0-0 and that would be an optimal result for the Tunisians. Regardless, they’ll be playing for goal differential in the group and for that reason the Under 2.5 looks like a lock with Betonline.ag
